Red Rock Elephino Double IPA
It’s an enormous beer! Six different hop varieties combined with the finest malts and double dry-hopped for a massive sensory overload.
Red Rock’s Elephino (el-uh-fine-oh) Double India Pale Ale is an American style IPA. Its intense citrus, floral and perfume-like, resinous and piney aroma come from the use of a copious amount of American hops. This beer is double dry-hopped on whole leaf Amarillo hops for a vivid, fresh aroma. The huge hop profile is backed up by a malty sweetness that lends a hand in this fine creation’s balance.

Sparkly, golden orange body. Two fingers of thick, frothy, dirty cotton white head. Great lacing. Lots of tropical fruits, mandarin orange, and piny hops on the nose. Sugary, cookie-ish malts underneath.
Herbal hop bitterness and metallic notes up front. Hop flavors are in charge here, with lots of mango, pineapple, and citrus. Becomes more resinous and dank near the finish. Sugary, fruity malt plays bass. Drier finish, with some lingering fruits and herbal hop bitterness. Medium-full body with a nice, creamy feel. Very nicely done!
